The NFL preseason drags toward an anticipated finish but the big news at this very moment is Plaxico Burress.
You may remember him helping the giants to the 08 super bowl but chances are you more clearly know him as the guy who shot himself in the leg in an NY nightclub shortly after the championship season. Plax was denied entry into the work release program and will likely have to serve his full 2 yr sentence ending in 2011. Work release charter stated also that he would have to be in prison on weekends and his travel rights would be severely restricted as well, making it pretty much impossible for the 6'6 receiver to be anywhere near a football field on gameday. Did i mention Ben Roethlisberger raped a girl in Georgia a few months ago and is at training camp right now?? WTF...??
