29 new zealand miners dead

After a horrific blast in the relatively small country of New Zealand, Prime minister John Key released a statement calling the blast a national disaster and a national tragedy.
"New Zealand is a small country -- a country where we are our brother's keeper. So to lose this many brothers at once strikes an agonizing blow." Apparently after the blast leaking gases were to blame for the elevated loss of life as they made the area far too unstable to find a safe rescue route for the miners.
Queen Elizabeth of England sent a message to PM John Key and the people of New Zealand stating how deeply the loss of life has saddened her. "My heart goes out to the families of all these brave miners"...
All we here can think about is the Chilean miners who actually survived 2 months in a rock pit...Human society, can't win em all...
