A New York theatre rendition of a Spider Man, "Turn Off The Dark" play has resulted in numerous recent and serious injuries. The most recent victim of which being 31 yr old Christopher Tierney, In an act where Mary Jane dangled from a bridge. "He was supposed to swoop over there" said one showgoer, New Zealander Jon Dealwis...the harness didn't hold and Tierney plummeted about 20 feet. "You could just sort of see it snap back, Then a producer came out and said the show was over". He is currently in hospital in serious but stable condition and should be alright. No story on whether or not the play employs paid acrobats...
