One time Haitian presidential candidate and multi-million selling artist, Wyclef Jean, is speaking out against the processes taking place surrounding the Haitian elections.
This time it seems that acting Haitian prime minister Jean Preval's was not prepared for elections and in so being, held no elections at all. Other lobbyists shouted for Preval's arrest in wake of his making a mockery out of democracy in his country. Wyclef decided to return to his native Haiti to try to rebuild his country by running for president after a disastrous earthquake last february, the full force of which is still very much being felt today. Wyclef's presidential bid was shot down by the same cabinet which is now coming under scrutiny for failing to hold any elections.
