Ok so hes not Terrible but has anyone figured out why former Pro Bowler Kerry Collins is still one of the sketchiest good Quartebacks in NFL history? Its partially because of the allegations of alcoholism that led him to be released by the Carolina Panthers. One drunken night, during a team bonding session, Collins dropped the N Bomb in the presence of teammate Muhsin Muhammad. The intoxicated Collins, also, possibly inadvertently slurred teammate Norberto Garrido who is Hispanic. Collins later retorted he thought he could use the N word in an endearing manner ( white folks who listen to Rap and meet black dudes....) But it turns out Muhammad Is Muslim so Kerry just got released by Carolina. He later cited he said the word in poor judgement and definetely was misled in his attempt at using it. He actually cites alcoholism for much of his erratic behavior during the last part of his stint with the Carolina panthers and would seek out assistance for his problem during the 1998 season. He would sign with the New york Giants in 1999 and lead them to super bowl 35 in 2000 where they would lose to Ray Lewis' Ravens. After 5 seasons he was released and signed by the Oakland Raiders as RICH Gannon's backup for the 05 season. He's thrown for over 39 000 yards on his career and is closing in on 200 tds, and with the current Vince Young situation, it looks like he could be seeing those numbers go up.
