Boardwalk Empire is based on the early mafiosi such as Capone, Lucky Luciano, and Jimmy Domini's rises from the italian ghettos of brooklyn and Jersey in the 20's to prominence in Chicago and New York. the cross cultures of all the move makers of the day Irish, Italian, Dutch etc. is phenomenal....If u haven't seen it yet you must!
