Magic, Larry Bird Headed to Broadway

One of the great friendships in sports is going to wind up under the lights of broadway.
They electrified the eighties battling for 3 championships, Bragging rights and the future of pro basketball itself in the eighties. They also forged one of  the great sporting friendships of our time.
The cast is said to be working with about 6 people so far and the play is scheduled to debut on Broadway and will be directed by Tony Ponturo of emmy winning "Memphis" and Fran Kirmser, who also put out the emmy award winning "Hair"...Magic/ Bird...a saga with a definite winning combination...
