Wyclef Jean Shot in Haiti! (injuries from Glass not Bullets)

Last night at around 11pm, Wyclef Jean was shot in the hand while in Haiti to support presidential candidate Michel Martelly in his election. Details are sketchy but “Joe Mignon, a senior program director for Wyclef’s Yele Foundation, confirmed to the Associate Press that Wyclef was in Delmas, Haiti when shot.” Wyclef has been released from the hospital.

“They were passing through Delmas #65 in Port-au-Prince when reportedly a hail of gunfire rang out and was fired into the vehicle, resulting in Wyclef being shot in the hand. No one else was injured.”
Apparently a bullet just Missed mr jean but the splinterin glass from the entrance in to the vehicle did hit Clef but he should be fine..
Assasination attempt? Non Presidential warning shots? What is going on??

There is no report about the severity of the injury to Wyclef’s right hand, which he plays guitar with.
